Małaszewicze is a locality in the middle part of the eastern border of Poland, on the historic European East-West trade route, and the most important border crossings point between EU, Belarus and Russia combining several functions:

  • The railway reload port with fast and efficient transport of TIR trucks on rail car platforms
  • Petroleum Products Company with own railway sidings to the wide gauge rail of NIS countries to the European railway system. The reloading capacity for gas, oil, gasoline and aircraft fuel is 10,000 tons in 24 hours
  • The border crossing terminal in Krotoszyn, servicing TIR traffic crossing the border point Kukuryki with 1000 trucks each day
  • Special Economic Zone Malaszevicze facilitating international exchange of goods and servicing cargo in transit.

 

The special economic zone is located between the international route E-30 Berlin - Warsaw - Moscow and the railway route E-20. Its main task is development of business activities such as industrial production, services and trade, with the exception of retail trade. Necessary conditions are created for investors: railway siding (7.5 km of wide gauge rail and narrow gauge rail) connected with the E-20 route, a high efficiency and quality water supply network, telephone and other infrastructure.
