Free Economic Zone “Brest” (Belarus)

The Free Economic Zone «Brest» (FEZ Brest) is a special allocated territory totaling 71 sq km and offering very well developed industrial settlement areas. Its outstanding geo-strategic location is supplemented by two industrial settlement areas near the freight terminals "Kozlovichi" and the Brest Airport, with modern infrastructure and communications.

This special economic Zone offers in particular a very attractive tax scheme for companies with favorable framework conditions (regarding customs, currency, tax, labour and other regulations) before the door step of the European Union. Further, a company can enjoy the advantages of a duty free warehouse.

FDI (Foreign Direct Investments) from over 20 countries have been placed at the Free Economic Zone «Brest». The major investors are coming from the countries Russia, Germany and Poland.

The Zone companies produce amongst others furniture, foodstuffs, electrical engineering products, light industry goods, paints and coatings.
