Special investment zones

Special economic zones of the Business Valley BUG are territories with more liberal economic legislation in comparison with general economic laws of the given country. Due to the new environment created in the Business Valley BUG, investors can benefit not only from the wide range of business opportunities, but also from tax and investment incentives, access to highly qualified and relatively cheap labour, as well as natural and energy resources.

The FEZ (Free Economic Zone) category embraces a wide range of special zones, including Free Trade Zones (FTZ), Export Processing Zones (EPZ), Duty Free Zones (DFZ), Industrial Zones (IZ), free ports, Urban Enterprise Zones, etc.

FEZ "Brest" is one of the first and most successful free economic zones in Belarus. Similar areas in Poland are represented by a duty free zone in Małaszewicze and industrial parks Swidnik and Puławy.

The aim of economic zones is to attract foreign direct investments (FDI) into economies of Belarus, Poland and Ukraine. For further information please consult the BUG Marketing and Communication Agencies.
